When I started my career, I had one dream: to be a developer. 💻 I imagined myself diving deep into code, crafting solutions, and creating amazing designs. But life had other plans. My first opportunity came as a tutor—not something I was excited about, to be honest. 😅 Teaching wasn’t on my radar, and stepping into that role felt completely out of my comfort zone.
As a naturally shy person, standing in front of students was a mountain to climb. 🏔️ The beginning was tough, filled with doubts and the nagging feeling that this wasn’t “my thing.” But as the days turned into weeks, something unexpected happened—I started enjoying it. 💡 Sharing my knowledge in Python and Django, breaking down complex concepts into bite-sized lessons, and seeing the “aha!” moments on my students’ faces slowly turned into something I looked forward to every day. 😃
Over time, tutoring became more than just a job; it became a passion. ❤️ I loved connecting with my students, not just as a teacher but as a friend who could guide them. Our conversations weren’t limited to the syllabus—we dove into trending technologies like AI 🤖, design tools 🎨, and web development ideas. These discussions fueled my love for both learning and teaching, and I found myself growing alongside my students.
Looking back, tutoring shaped me in ways I never expected. It improved my communication skills 🗣️, boosted my confidence ✨, and helped me embrace being in front of an audience—something my shy, younger self would never have believed. It also reminded me of why I started this journey: to create, to design, and to help others grow. 🌟
In the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching over 150 students, each one leaving a mark on my journey. 💬 Professionally, I started as a tutor intern at Avodha, where I got my first taste of teaching. Later, I joined Techwingsys as a Python and Django trainer-cum-developer, a role that combined my love for coding and teaching into one fulfilling package. 🚀
